"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6. We had Clara's baby dedication at our church, Sugar Land Baptist Church, this morning. It was a very sweet ceremony with four other babies. Phillip and I chose a verse to be read and then promised to raise her as a Christian, as if there was any doubt. Our verse was 'I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth' 3 John 1:4.

She received a certificate, a letter to be opened when she becomes a Christian, and a little bible.

Other big news... Clara took her first steps on Thursday! She has taken a few every day since then, but still prefers to get from place to place crawling.
