Yesterday, Amanda, her son, Nathan, Michelle and her daughter, Maya, came over to play. The kids mostly stared at each other and seemed to enjoy having someone their size to 'talk' to. It made me think of the movie 'Look Who's Talking'. Clara and Nathan were content with playing the toys around them, but Maya likes to explore and see what she can discover. Later we went out for lunch and dessert at the Cupcake Cafe, which was definitely more for the mommy's enjoyment!
Clara had her 6 month doctor visit on Tuesday. The doctor said she looked great. She weighs 15 pounds and is 26 inches long. Growing and growing... even though she has decided not to eat solid food anymore and now grabs the spoon to keep it from coming close to her mouth. Not even Daddy can convince her to take a bite.
