Decorating for Christmas

Every year Phillip and I have been married, we buy a real tree for Christmas.  We love how they make the house smell Christmas-y.  We didn't go far to find one as the nearby Home Depot had quite a selection.  Clara wanted to help and picked out a beautiful 10 foot noble fir.

This is the one Clara wanted.

After Daddy set the tree up and put on hundreds of white lights, it was up to Mommy and Clara to do the rest.  We started with reindeer ornaments which Daddy started collecting when he was young.  Then we added the ornaments that Mommy and Daddy bought on their many trips.  We also have many Auburn ornaments, and they are definitely our favorite.  Clara's new favorite word is Aubie, and she got so excited about every ornament with Aubie the Auburn mascot on it.  Before long the tree was decorated, and Clara was hungry for a snack of crackers... one for each hand.
