Happy Thanksgiving

Where does the time go?  We were just partying for Halloween, and now its already time to put up Christmas decorations.  We had busy November.  Phillip's family came for a long weekend.  Clara enjoyed the special time with her Grandmother and Granddaddy, Gran and Grandpa.  Phillip and Granddaddy went fishing in the backyard and caught the biggest catfish I've ever seen.  It was bigger than Clara!

The next weekend was our 4th annual Mother/ Daughter weekend in Houston.  We did some shopping at the Nutcracker Market, visited Santa (Clara wanted  nothing to do with him this year... I'm sure that wil change), baked some cookies, but mostly watched Clara and Maya playing together.
Pajama Party!
We celebrated Thanksgiving in Dallas with my family.  My parents had a packed itinerary ranging from running the Dallas Turkey trot to spending time at Great Grandma's house.  We went to the Dallas Cowboy football game on Thanksgiving but the best football game of the week was the Auburn/ Alabama Iron Bowl.  It was a close game, and I'm sure it was all our cheering that pushed them to victory.  Since we won't be seeing Mike's family at Christmas, we celebrated and exchanged our presents early.  Clara was definitely spoiled with presents!  She got a cute Santa and Reindeer playset, a ladybug purse, clothes, a book about Bisquit the dog, and more.

We hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday too!
