We started the trip with a visit to the Columbus Zoo. We saw lots of animals but the polar bears were the big hit. The girls loved watching them play together. Lori made the girls matching shirts. Aren't they cute!
We explored and saw the animals until it was nap time, so we went back to Michelle's house for the rest of the night but the fun wasn't over. Michelle set up multiple swimming pools and the girls had a great time swimming. Clara had the most fun splashing Maya and Katherine. The more times Katherine told her the stop, the more Clara laughed and kept doing it. It has us all laughing.
Then everyone surprised Clara with a birthday party and Elmo cupcakes!
With all the extra suger, the girls were off and running. I think we had more fun watching them play together than doing anything else.
On Saturday, we went to the museum. It was well setup for kiddos and every room had something for them to interact with. It was also pretty empty which was nice with 4 kids under 4 who were having a great time exploring.
We are already looking forward to next year's trip!
