We celebrated Clara's first Easter in Rockwall, Texas, with Grandma and Grandpa. She woke up to find the Easter bunny brought her a basket filled with toys. Her favorite is a baby doll that says 'I love you' when you squeeze its belly. She loves it and smiles everytime it talks to her! She also got a new book, a CD of Christian children songs, and a three egg/chick rattles.
On Friday, we had lunch at Great Grandma's house, and Clara loved her bathroom closet mirrors. She played and talked to the 'other' baby for over an hour. It had us all laughing!
We spent Saturday in Tyler, Texas, attending my cousin's Sandy's wedding to Diego from Brazil. They met and fell in love while she was living there last year. It was a beautiful ceremony with only close family in attendance. Clara has three other weddings to attend this year, so it was a good trial run since it was held outside!
