Beginning yesterday, Clara decided her tongue is a fun toy. She sticks it out all the time and will even pull on it with her fingers. Its hilarious. She is also blowing air when its sticking out and spits everywhere. I'm not sure what goes through that head of hers.
Since she turned six weeks, we've had her on a 3 hour feeding cycle. On Sunday, we switched to eating every 3.5 hours. So far, so good! In a few weeks, we will introduce baby cereal and then the real fun begins. Wish us luck!!
On Thursday, we toured another day care/ school. Clara and I really liked it, so we registered today. They don't have any openings until June 7, and I go back to work in April. We'll have to figure something out in the transition. Its called the Walden School and is about three miles from the house. There are only eight infancts and three teachers in the class she will be in. They seem to have a lot planned for the children. Like in January they are focusing on cold things... reading books about animals that live in the snow and sensory activites like feeling shaved ice and cold water. When she gets a little older, they also offer soccer, gymnastics, and swimming. With how much Clara likes to kick, swimming or soccer may be in her future.
