Sea World

On Saturday, we woke up early and drove to Sea World in San Antonio.  They recently opened a Sesame Street play area, and it was all Clara would talk about.  She is one of Sesame's biggest fans!

Sea World here we come...

The first item on our agenda was breakfast with all her favorite characters.  Bert & Ernie, Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Zoe were all there to meet.  They walked around to all the tables to give each kid some personal attention.  Clara loved them... as long as they kept their distance and she stayed in Phillip's arms.  Elmo is definitely her favorite, and she did give him a high five.

After breakfast we decided to check out the Sesame Street rides.  This part of the park was built for little kids and there were many rides Clara could ride.  Her favorite was the carosel, but she did enjoy the ferris wheel with daddy.

There was also a water area just for toddlers with water shooting from the ground.  Clara was a little hesitant at first but she soon figured out how fun it could be.

We also saw penguins, puffins, sharks, dolphins, turtles, fish and other sea animals.  Clara loved it all, even the two shows captured her attention.  She is already a fan of Shamu.

We stayed in San Antonio that night.  Our hotel had many pools, a lazy river, great restaurants and a nature trail.  We tried to do as much as we could and definitely wore Clara out.  She slept pretty good after such a fun day!
